It shall be the vision of Anderson Chapel’s Stewardess to serve the Lord Table with reverence, humility, integrity, and respect for all who shall come to His Table, to love our brothers and sisters, and to be a witness to others through his teachings.
To foster and nurture young ladies who will shadow the Stewardess and potentially become Junior Stewardesses in the church so that they will learn the meaning of being a servant of God through work.
That the Steward Board will faithfully discharge the responsibilities of Stewardship as outlined in Chapter 35 of the Book of Discipline, encourage Church members in spiritual growth, be financially supportive, and give support and aid to the sick, shut-in and the needy of our Church community.
To oversee and provide reports on all financial matters of the Church by maintaining accurate records of income, expenditures, and financial transactions. To work with each ministry in developing plans for their financial support. To continually develop our spiritual Stewardship through Bible study, Sunday School, Worship Service and other charitable or mentorship organizations.
Develop and promotes programs that help local congregations become more aware of and involved in evangelism.
To express our God-given gifts and talents both through singing, praise dancing, and playing of instruments.
To express to others our gratitude to God for the gifts and talents God has given us; to bless the congregation through our Extreme Means of Worship (EMW) Ministry with a wide variety of songs and voices.

The Box Ministry of Anderson C.M.E. Church is designed to serve those in need within the community. The ministry consists of the distribution of box groceries to various individuals and prepared meals for those who need them. As a church family that is service oriented, and mission and ministry focused, we continue to strive in ushering in the Kingdom of God through our commitment to others.
Young Adult Ministry
Cater to the lives of Young Adults and the particular challenges/needs of Young Adults and a nurturing and meaningful relationship with Christ and the Church.

The Sunday School provides training for members of the church in the love and knowledge of God as revealed in Jesus Christ, in the meaning and understanding of the Bible as God’s word and to help them grow in their Christian faith.
The purpose of the Sunday School is to provide training for members of the church in love and knowledge of God as revealed in Jesus Christ. Also to change lives for Christ and to grow in the Christian Faith.
Promote emphasis on the Bible as the record of he revelation of God in Christ. Help the members to grow in their Christian faith. Recruit more children, youth, young adults, and adults by 10% for each class within our Church membership. Celebrate Promotion Sunday, recognize our graduates and honor roll students. Continue to have our Bus Ministry.

Carol J. Moody
C.M.E. Missionaries reaching back, standing firm, and moving ahead to serve, teach, and mentor in a Christian manner to our Church Family and the community.
Providing assistance and care to our sick and shut-in; Mentoring female youth offenders and children and youth in the church family, e.g., Big Sister Program; Assisting female criminal offenders with the necessary skills to survive outside of the confinement of jail/prison and the necessary skills to search for employment, e.g., to apply and fill out employment applications, dress for interviews/employment, etc.; and Participating fully with the ministries and programs of the Women’s Missionary Society of the Christian Methodist Episcopal Church. Meet every 4th Sunday at 3:00 p.m.
The children’s choir comes under the Department of the Children’s Ministry. The choir sings each fourth Sunday. They children participate in the service by rendering the prayer and reading the scriptures. Mrs. Barbara Anderson is the Music Director of the Children’s Choir. The children’s choir presents a Christmas and an Easter Musical each year under the direction of Mrs. Anderson.
New Members Ministry
The New Members Ministry endeavors to greet and orientate new members in the doctrines of the Church Body of Christ with Christian love, enthusiasm, knowledge and excellence. New Members Ministry provides new members with an overview of Anderson Chapel CME Church, including: Who We Are, and What We Believe We share information of Church History, Mission Statement, Polity, Service Ministries, and requirements for joining We share the good news about Salvation, Prayer, Spiritual Gifts, Stewardship, Discipleship, and Basic knowledge of the Bible

Ushers & Greeters
To have an active, participating, and committed Usher/Greeter Ministry that will be obedient and faithful to the Word in carrying out the duties of an Usher and a Greeter as they [duties] relate to the Mission of Anderson Chapel C.M.E. Church.
*To finalize the visitor’s pack. *To continue to study the Bible and Usher Manual in an attempt to become spiritually fed and to know what is expected of an Usher. *To practice using the Usher signals in order to communicate with each other and the Pastor without leaving one’s post. *To continue to hold at least two training sessions yearly. *To plan a successful Usher/Greeter Program with greater participation from the community.
Board of Christian Education
Responding to the need for programs of Christian nurture of the church, educational ministry, and educational activities for members, officers, boards and auxiliaries is the responsibility of this board.
Creation and administration of needed programs of Christian nurture of the church – Development of a sound educational ministry for continued instruction in church doctrine and policy – Supervision of those departments that will affect the lives and education of our church and community youth

To have a week of Fasting and Praying once each quarter – (4) times. To have a Prayer Shut-In and Pre Shut-In workshop from 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm each Conference Year. To have Noonday Prayer every Wednesday for NE-Mississippi Region To meet every 3rd Friday at 5:30 pm
Christian Youth Fellowship (C.Y.F.)
Is to transform the hearts and minds of students, leading them into a passionate, purpose-filled relationship with Jesus Christ. The Christian Youth Fellowship is a ministry for youth between the ages of 11-17. This ministry provides the necessary resources to youth to help them continue to their growth with Christ. Sowing the word of God in our youth and young adults is primary to the success of our church, nation and race.
